Welcome.

When was the last time you paused to check in with yourself how you’re really doing?

Life moves fast. Days fill quickly, and we move forward as if there’s always somewhere else we need to be. In that movement, we often lose touch with ourselves.

The therapy space can be a gentle reminder that checking in can be a practice. A practice of self-care, self-compassion, and attention to the present moment. Through storytelling, reflection, and the rhythm of regular sessions, it offers a simple practice of slowing down, paying attention, and meeting ourselves with a little more kindness. This is an invitation to slow down and notice what it really means to be human, right now.

Meet Rosaline

My name is Rosaline, and I am a licensed psychologist providing individual psychotherapy for adults (18+) in California. I speak English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. My work is grounded in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, relational, and multicultural approaches, and is neurodiversity-affirming. Throughout the therapy process, I pay close attention to my client’s relational patterns, the influence of family and culture, and what emerges between us during each session. My philosophy is to gently provide my clients with insight and empathize with emotional depth, as it is important to feel understood rather than just “treated.”

Most of my clients come to me seeking insight into relationship patterns, perfectionism, identity, belonging, neurodivergence (ADHD/autistic traits), and living with chronic illness or disability. Some of the clients I really enjoy working with are high-achieving individuals navigating multiple roles, high expectations, and feeling “not enough.”

My practice is a good fit if you are interested in insight-oriented psychotherapy that engages both your strengths and your pain, and if you’re curious about understanding—not only managing—your experiences and symptoms. If this description resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out to schedule a brief phone consultation
